Karis church is a church the longs to see the gospel reach the ends of the earth. We are a church that believes in churches planting churches. Pray with Karis Church for our Missionaries in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

In 2010, Karis sent our first short-term team to serve in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with Jay Bauman and Restore Brazil. Karis currently supports two full-time missionaries, Jessica Fleshman and Eric Papp, who serve with Restore Brazil. Fall Women's Bible Study: Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin

The Gospel of Matthew in the Bible is a collection of ministry “firsts” for Jesus. In this book, readers are given details about the first days of Christ’s ministry in the province of Galilee. Jesus’ first disciples were found and called there, and they watched Jesus heal the sick and paralyzed and cast out demons for the first time. These men also followed Jesus up a mountain near the Sea of Galilee, where they heard their new leader deliver a sermon that touched on subjects like prayer, divorce, serving, fasting and more. Jesus’ extensive teaching event left those in attendance “astonished” according to the Bible and often leaves modern-day readers of the sermon with the same sense of astonishment that the disciples felt all those years ago.
