Welcome to Karis!
Karis Church is a gospel community on mission. We welcome you to join us at one of our weekly Sunday Gatherings as we gather to sing historic and modern hymns, hear God's word proclaimed in a challenging yet relevant manner, and gather around the Lord's table, celebrating His gospel. Karis gathers weekly in Columbia in the main auditorium at 606 Ridgeway Ave at 10 AM. If you’re new, join us this Sunday and learn next steps to connect with us!
Where to Go
We gather each week inside the Main Auditorium of 606 Ridgeway Ave in Columbia, Missouri. You can enter our main parking lot from Hirth Ave or Donnelly Ave, or you can park in our overflow lot along Worley Ave, if needed. There are several handicap parking spots marked with blue signs near both the Main Entrance and South (ADA) Entrance of the church building. Make your way to one of these entrances when you arrive, then help yourself to some free Shortwave coffee in the foyer!
What to Expect
Sunday Gatherings include singing, preaching, prayer, and communion, and typically last around 90 minutes. Pre-packaged communion cups continue to be made available for those most comfortable with that option. We’ll give instructions each week for taking the Lord’s Supper together towards the end of the Gathering.
We have visitors every week, and while we hope to meet you and get to know you more, we won’t single you out as a first-time visitor. You’ll also notice people dressed from jeans and sneakers to dresses and slacks, so feel free to wear whatever is most comfortable for you! We hope you’ll fill out a connecting card and visit our welcome center in the foyer to learn more about how to get connected with Karis!
Karis Kids
If you have children, they are welcome to attend the Gathering with you. We are always happy to see kids listening to the sermon with the adults. However, we believe that kids can also benefit from Bible teaching adapted to their age and maturity level. Our Karis Kids classrooms are open to children six months through 5th grade. All of our Karis Kids volunteers have been thoroughly screened and trained to ensure that your children are safe and well-taught.
