Into the City

Today, we jumped out of bed and headed into the big city. For the first time on a Karis Japan trip, we visited the Tokyo Sky Tree, the tallest tower in the world at 2,080 feet. Visitors can go up to 1,480 feet, and today we had that privilege. The tower offers breathtaking glimpses of the massive city. You can catch some of the views below.

Following our time in the tower, Timothy headed over to his old stomping grounds in Chiba. I journeyed over to Shibuya with Drew to do some shopping. Shibuya has the busiest pedestrian intersection in the world. Drew ended up heading back home. Timothy and I met up in Shibuya. There we got caught up in the street Halloween celebration there. I don't think I've ever seen so many people in my life.

Tomorrow, we will spend a lot of time talking with Drew and Meg about our partnership into the future. We will also have dinner with Pastor Yoshi and his family. Tomorrow is our last full day in Japan.
