Celebrate Advent with Karis
Celebrate Advent with Karis!
During the Advent season, we remember the coming of Christ and look forward to His return. In our waiting, we gather as a church, recognizing the sufficiency of Christ, our hope in the brokenness, and we look for ways to love and serve our neighbors, sharing with them the peace we have in Jesus.
We invite you to join us in our gatherings, our times of fellowship, and our giving as we wait expectantly for Christmas Day!
Sunday Gatherings: Each Sunday of Advent we will consider “The Servant Foretold” as we study the servant songs of Isaiah.
Christmas Devotional: Pick up a free copy from the Resource Table of Christianity Today’s Advent devotional “Darkness Then Light” to read and pray through during the month of December.
The Season of Giving: We are collecting special donations for our local partners at City of Refuge and global partners who are helping to plant a church in Brazil.
Women’s Fellowship: Enjoy time in community, hearing each other’s stories and inviting others to join us in fellowship from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6.
High School Dinner: All high schoolers are welcome to attend and enjoy dinner and fellowship/discussion at the Eschenbachs’ house from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 19.
The Christmas Gathering: Come celebrate the birth of our Savior on Christmas Eve at our family-friendly gathering!
