Celebrating ‘Our King, His Kingdom’: A Journey Through Matthew

For the past four years, Karis has read and studied the Gospel of Matthew in a sermon series entitled Our King, His Kingdom.

We have walked with Jesus from His birth in Bethlehem, through His ministry of healing and teaching, to the cross, and finally the empty tomb. Week after week, we have been reminded that Jesus is our King, and His Kingdom changes everything.

At Karis, we are committed to expositional preaching. We work through books of the Bible, passage by passage, letting God’s Word shape and direct us. Spanning Nov. 7, 2021, to Nov. 16, 2025, this series included 143 sermons from eight different preachers, totaling more than 96 hours (or four days) of preaching time!

As we conclude our Matthew study, we celebrate lives transformed by God’s grace, hearts encouraged, sins confronted and hope renewed along the way.
