Celebrate this Season of Giving with our local partners at City of Refuge and global partners in Brazil!

City of Refuge (Donations by Dec. 14)

Join us as we partner with City of Refuge by donating a care kit! Meeting basic needs is one of the best ways you can support local refugee families. Your donation is not only meeting tangible needs – it helps refugee families feel safe and welcome in mid-Missouri. Your generosity will help local refugee families worry less about the day-to-day things they need and let them focus more on the bigger challenges like finding a job, learning English, and settling into a new life.

Pick the care kit that you'd like to build from our Christmas tree in the foyer, purchase the suggested kit items, and drop off your kit during a Sunday Gathering! Follow the steps below to participate. You can also visit the City of Refuge website to learn more.

How to Build a Kit:
1. Pick an ornament to choose which kit(s) you'd like to build.
2. Spend up to $30 to purchase NEW items from the suggested list.
3. Pack all the supplies in any appropriately-sized box or container.
4. Drop the kit off in the foyer during a Sunday Gathering (by Dec. 14!)

Brazil Church Plant (Donations by Dec. 28)

Some of our global partners are helping plant a church in Brazil, and Karis is collecting a special donation to provide support as the church gets off the ground. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to meet needs such as chairs ($328), tatami mats ($526), air conditioning ($1,435) and music/sound equipment ($2,550).
