Weakness in Church Planting

Karis church is a church the longs to see the gospel reach the ends of the earth. We are a church that believes in churches planting churches. One of the ways we put that vision into action is continuing to send out missionaries to partner with other church plants across the world. Drew and Megumi Glosson currently serve as missionaries to Japan and are partnered with Soma Fuchu in the heart of Tokyo, Japan. Below is a recent update from Drew and Meg. Pray with Karis Church for our Missionaries in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

In 2010, Karis sent our first short-term team to serve in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with Jay Bauman and Restore Brazil. Karis currently supports two full-time missionaries, Jessica Fleshman and Eric Papp, who serve with Restore Brazil. Brazil Team 2017: First Full Day on the Ground

Monday was an amazing day of seeing God work in and through the team. After a busy Sunday of travel, sightseeing and worship, we got to start off the morning at a slower pace and hear from Jay Bauman, director of Restore Brazil, about the work that he is doing with the ministry, Acts 29, Redentor Church and Union Church.

Brazil Spring Break 2017: Partnership

In just over a month, Karis Church will send 14 people to Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, for 10 days. 2017 is Karis’s 8th year of partnership with an Acts29 organization in Rio called Restore Brazil.

One of Karis’s three guiding principles is community. God’s gospel community knows no bounds; it loves and learns past physical and cultural differences. It empowers Karis Church to partner within our city, with our missionaries and with Restore Brazil to further the name of Christ and the story of His sacrifice.
