Goin' Back to Cali

Amy and I are in the Denver airport, waiting to catch a flight to Los Angeles. We will be spending the next several days at the annual Acts 29 Pastors' Retreat. After many years in Vail, it's again in Newport Beach, California. I'm excited! I'm grateful for Jonah and Jaylyn Wilson and all of our other great Karis Church friends who are watching our kiddos while we are gone. This retreat is always a wonderful time of refreshment and fellowship. It has been exciting to see the network grow from the 60 or so couples in our first year there to more than 400 now. God has blessed this movement so much. Karis truly caught a wave of God's Spirit when we joined. I'll again get to spend some time with my cousin Kendra and her great family. My sister Krystal and her husband Chris Jones (Redeemer Bloomington) will also be on their first trip. It's always a privilege to hang with a bunch of Acts 29 dudes and their wives.

I apologize for not blogging much since Japan. Again jet lag took more of a toll than I expected. I've been very down in the back. Plus, this past Wednesday I collided with Bobby playing basketball. I'm pretty sure I have cracked ribs! Luke and Ann Daughterty and their kids came back into town for a visit this past weekend, as well. I've been busy. Lord willing, I'll be updating this site more in July
