Back to Tokyo

We are on the bullet train again, heading to Tokyo. We will have today to tour the city. Drew has some great sights in mind. We will then leave for the U.S. tomorrow. I'm enjoying myself immensely here. We have met with some great people. The Lord is definitely at work, raising up men and women to come to Japan as missionaries. He is bringing indigenous Japanese leaders to the surface, as well.

There is no doubt in my mind that we must be involved in bringing the gospel here to Japan. The nation is said to be as little as .2% Christian. It is labeled the second most unreached place in the world. Karis Church, we must be all-in here. It isn't just that we have three couples passionate about Japan, although that is significant. I've been here, now two times. The need is that great. I'M passionate about Japan. Our minds don't often go to Japan as a nation of need due to her economic prosperity. We tend to think of third world countries. However, most of those places have far more Christians than there are here. Japan may have cash and electronics, but they don't have hope. There are more than 30,000 suicides each year. Our goal isn't just to put food in bellies of the children of the world. It's to feed their souls with the bread of life. People in this nation are so hungry. Let's feed then, brothers and sisters.
