Welcome to Karis!
With a new school year on the horizon, we invite you to our Welcome Weeks activities! Whether you're brand new, just started visiting over the Summer, or are just ready to more deeply connect with us, these are the perfect laid-back events to attend. Come learn more about our church family, how you can be involved, and get to know some new people during Karis' 20th anniversary year by the grace of God! Fill out a Connecting Card if you'd like us to keep you in the loop on all things Karis.
MC Open Houses
Missional Communities (MCs) are at the heart of who we are at Karis. They are smaller groups that meet at homes throughout the city during the week, and every MC will be hosting casual, open-house-style gatherings during our Welcome Weeks for you to visit and try out. Learn more about MCs and find one to visit! Feel free to message the group leader for more information.
Karis Youth Pool Party
Come end the summer with a Karis Youth pool party! All students in sixth through 12th grades are invited to join Karis Youth for a pool party at West Broadway Swim Club from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29. Please RSVP via the Karis Youth Church Center group by Aug. 26. Regular youth group meetings will begin on the second Sunday of September.
Karis College Kickoff
If you're a college student at any college or university in Mid-Missouri, we invite you to join us for two events as part of our Karis College Kickoff Weekend!
At 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 28, join us for an evening of hanging out at the Larson home!
After the Gathering on Sunday, Aug. 30, learn about plans for the upcoming school year and our partnership with The Bridge Collegiate Ministry on Mizzou's campus - plus enjoy some free food!

Karis Intro
Are you new to Karis Church? Join us for an informational lunch after the Sunday Gathering on Sept. 13 to learn more about our church family! Free lunch will be provided, and children of all ages are welcome to attend with you. Karis Intro is the primary starting point to become more deeply involved with Karis. Whether you're brand new or have been wanting to become a member for a while, this is the day to join us!
