Guest Preacher Aug. 24: Eric Schumacher

Karis Church is excited to welcome Eric Schumacher on Sunday, Aug. 24. Eric will preach God’s Word during our regular worship Gathering at 10 a.m.

Eric is an author, podcaster, songwriter, and has served in pastoral ministry for more than two decades. He is currently the pastoral ministry director for the Baptist Convention of Iowa. He has written several books, including his recent work, The Good Gift of Weakness: God’s Strength Made Perfect in the Story of Redemption. He’ll expound upon the theme of that book, which has served as Karis’ Summer OneRead.

The husband and father of five is also the co-author of Worthy: Celebrating the Value of Women. He is a personal friend of Karis Lead Pastor Kevin Larson.
