Kevin Larson serves as Lead Pastor of Karis. He is a native of Drexel, Missouri,
is a 1994 graduate of the University of Missouri (B.A., Honors in Communication),
and is a 2004 graduate of Southern Seminary (MDiv., Theology). Kevin has served
in local church and campus ministry work for the past 13 years. He is married to
Amy, a registered nurse, yet a happy homemaker. The couple has three children--
two boys, Hadley and Kylen and a girl, Melia. Kevin is passionate about building
a God-centered, reproducing church in Columbia's "District".
Aarik Danielsen ministers as a lay elder at Karis, preaching the word, leading worship,
and shepherding God's people. He serves as an editor at The Columbia Tribune.
He and his wife Brooke are excited to seek Columbia's welfare.
Matt Ballou serves as a lay elder in Karis. He is passionate about connecting the gospel with counseling, as well as with the arts. He serves as an art professor at the University of Missouri. He is married to Alison. The couple has a daughter, Miranda.
Rob Gaskin serves as a volunteer staff elder for Karis. He focuses on leadership development, along with Community Groups. He works with the True/False Film Festival, as well as for Crisis Systems Management. He is married to Becca.
Ryan Worley serves as a lay elder, preaching regularly with plans to plant a church down the road. He also serves as Coordinator at the Youth Community Coalition. Ryan and his wife Melissa have one daughter, Loreli, and a son, Micah.
