Serving our city with ForColumbia

  • Columbia, Missouri

ForColumbia, as stated on their website, "was founded in 2015 with a simple mission: to bring Christians together to share God’s love by serving our community, side by side. We do this by organizing volunteers from Christian churches throughout Columbia to serve individuals and non-profit organizations in a city-wide day of service."

On Saturday, April 29, Karis Church will partner with 47 other local churches seeking to serve our city through ForColumbia. There are a number of volunteer opportunities, such as preparing freezer meals, painting, cleaning, doing yard work, and building projects. You can sign up as an MC to do a project together, or you can sign up individually and be placed with others from our city.

As you go through the sign up form, you'll have a chance to provide details on the type of skills you have or your preferred site. It's here that you can indicate if you want to be assigned with your MC group or other families. When you sign up by April 12, you'll be able to get a t-shirt to wear during the event.
