A Night of Prayer for Columbia

"But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare." Jeremiah 29, ESV

Karis Church strives to be a church "in the city, for the city" of Columbia. While this idea often plays out in the form of serving and contributing to the culture of our city, it must first look like humble and persistent prayer on behalf of our city.

On August 19th, we invite you to join us at our Westside location for a night of prayer for Columbia. We will meet at 6 PM, with a tentative ending time of 7:30 PM. Karis Elder Aarik Danielsen will be guiding us through prayer for the welfare of our city, with time devoted to praying for our schools, citizens, government officials and the unique challenges that Columbia faces - as well as praising God for all the ways we've seen our town flourish and thrive.

Additionally, representatives from several of our local ministry partners (Love INC, My Life Clinic and Rescued) will share their vision for serving our neighbors both practically and spiritually.

Will you join us as we seek the welfare of our city through prayer?
