The punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. Karis, on that night Jesus Christ chose to die on our behalf, our chains were broken and our lives were paid for with His blood. He chose to take on Himself the punishment we deserve, and take our sin to the grave. This incredible act of love leaves us in awe and wonder.

We invite you to join us for a special gathering to remember this life-changing sacrifice that has brought us freedom. On Good Friday, we will remember the Cross, we will stand in awe of God’s sacrifice, and we will worship our Savior.

Please join us on Good FridayMarch 29 at 7:00 p.m.We will meet at 606 Ridgeway Avenue, and there will be Karis Kids childcare. Invite friends and family!

Isaiah 53:4-6, “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with His wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
