Yesterday, the Karis family gathered in the Upper Crust downtown for worship. Due to the True/False Film Festival, we had to move out of the Theatre for just a Sunday. Jamie Wagner, a Karis member, manages the catering room at the Upper Crust, and she hooked us up with a great situation. It's an excellent alternate site for us. Ryan Worley preached from Luke 11:14-23. He did a great job, challenging the people gathered to see the glory of the King and His kingdom. I'm always thankful when Ryan preaches, and this Sunday was no exception.
The band did an unplugged set, and it sounded great. Here are the morning's songs:
"Infinite Divine" (Mars Hill)
"Majesty" (Martin Smith)
"God of this City" (Bluetree)
"Jesus, I Come" (Indelible Grace)
"In Christ Alone" (Getty/Townsend)
